Peanut Butter & Oats Protein Snack


This quick protein snack is packed with protein and flavor that will make you forget that it's a healthy snack. These energy bites are very easy to make and takes less only 10 minutes to put together. Creating these with family, makes for great family time moments in the kitchen.


Whether you are looking for a way to add a mixture of protein and carbs into your body or just looking for a healthy snack, this snack only takes 5 ingredients: peanut butter, old fashion oats, protein powder, honey, and chocolate chips. With a taste more like a dessert than a healthy protein bite, this snack is great for those moments when you are craving something sweet. As an added bonus, it is also good for helping your body recover from lots of movement that cause you to use your muscles in ways that you haven't done so in a while, such as a workout or other activities.


Here is what you will need:

10g - Protein Powder

16g - Dark Chocolate Chips

50g - Honey

15g - Peanut Butter

32g - Oats


Instructions:

  1. Mix all of the ingredients above in a bowl. Make sure that all items are blended well.

  2. Section out portions of the mixture and roll generously to create a ball.

  3. Place each rolled protein ball in a container, separated by 1/2 inch.

  4. Place the container in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes for desired consistency. You may let sit longer if you'd like.

  5. Grab a snack and enjoy!
